Prof.Dr. Mustafa Abd el-Nabi Abd , Minia University President, stated that according to the timetable adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and in accordance with the executive regulations of organizing universities , nominations for students union elections for the academic year 2021/2022, will be opened from 18 November to 2 December . University president ensured that students unions are the legitimate organization which represents students and expresses their views and aspirations, as they practice various activities according to university traditions and ethics. Prof.Dr. Essam Farhat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, indicated that a higher committee was formed to supervise and follow up elections and meetings were held with the heads of student care offices to explain the mechanisms of the elections, its timetable, distribution of candidacy forms, and the rules and regulations for students' candidacy.
