The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces the opening of applications for the position of Economic Expert to work on modeling the agriculture and food system in the European Union at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).

All tasks will be performed at the IIASA headquarters in Austria, and the selected candidate is expected to start their duties as soon as possible. The selected candidate will work under an initial full-time contract for two years, with the possibility of renewal thereafter.

Candidates must hold a PhD or Master's degree with relevant research experience in applied economics, such as agricultural economics, development economics, or resource economics. They must also possess strong analytical, quantitative, and programming skills, using tools such as R, Python, and GIS, alongside exceptional problem-solving skills, and proficiency in English
