Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farhat, President of Minya University, and Prof. Dr. Marwa Wagdy El-Shereai, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and under the supervision of:

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Isaac Farag Fahim, Vice Dean for Environmental Development and Community Service.
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lamis Mohamed El-Gafi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
• Dr. Atef Hassanein, Secretary of the Faculty.
• Dr. Mostafa Gamal, Director of the Student Affairs Office.

In line with the directives of the Egyptian government to address climate impacts and environmental sustainability, and under the slogan "Minya University - A Smart Green University," and believing in the importance of the environment and its preservation, the Faculty of Al-Alsun has launched the activities of Environmental Week for the academic year 2024/2025.

The activities began with the placement of flags in front of the faculty buildings, followed by the hanging of informational and awareness banners that urge and guide everyone on the necessity of preserving the environment and conserving water and electricity. The activities also included painting the curbs and planting some seedlings.

The events will continue throughout the week in collaboration with the Student Affairs Office of the faculty and the Environmental Friends team by carrying out beautification and tree-planting activities and encouraging environmental conservation.
