On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the orientation meeting for the French Language Department was held in the second-year hall, attended by faculty staff members, assistants, and some second and third-year students.

The meeting began with a speech by Prof. Amal Abdel Sattar Abdullah, Head of the French Language Department, who welcomed the new students, congratulated them on joining the department, and wished them a successful academic year.

Dr. Ahmed Gamal, a faculty member, then gave a welcoming speech to the first-year students, highlighting the advantages of the French language, the career opportunities available, and how students can make the most of the coming years. He also discussed the department's efforts to benefit students and develop their skills.

Ms. Fatima Ahmed, a demonstrator in the department, explained the program's description, covering its objectives, courses, and details regarding grades and exams. A video featuring a graduate was also shown to illustrate the job market and the importance of the French language.
