The Department of Chinese Language at the Faculty of Al-Alsun – Minia University, organized the Chinese Cultural Day activities on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in a festive atmosphere full of creativity and diversity. The department’s students expressed their deep appreciation for the Chinese language and culture through a series of outstanding artistic and cultural performances.

The event was held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dalia Tantawi, Head of the Chinese Language Department, in collaboration with faculty members, teaching assistants, and students.

The Cultural Day was honored by the presence of the college administration:

• Associate Professor Dr. Lamis El-Ghafi – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs

• Associate Professor Dr. Ishaq Farag – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development

The program included a variety of segments presented by the students, notably:

• Theatrical performances inspired by Chinese culture

• Poetry recitations in Chinese

• Musical performances showcasing the beauty of Chinese music

• Recitation of short stories from Chinese cultural heritage

• Dubbing performances

• Entertaining competitions

The event witnessed enthusiastic interaction from attendees, who praised the high level of organization and the richness of the presentations, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and excellence embodied by the students of the department.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participating and organizing students in recognition of their efforts in making this outstanding cultural day a success
