"Renewal of Appointment for 7 Academic Leaders at Minia University as Acting Deans of the Faculties of Medicine, Sport Sciences, Arts, Agriculture, Computers and Information, Veterinary Medicine, and Al-Alsun

In line with Minia University’s commitment to ensuring the continuity of academic and administrative work with efficiency and effectiveness, and to renewing confidence in its leadership competencies, Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, President of Minia University, has issued decrees renewing the appointment of a number of academic leaders as Acting Deans of Faculties.

This step comes in support of work stability, and in alignment with the University’s strategic goals in the fields of education, research, and community service, thereby contributing to enhancing institutional performance and ensuring academic stability within the University.

The decrees included the following appointments:

  • Dr. Hossam El-Din Shoukry Abdallah Raslan – Acting Dean, Faculty of Medicine

  • Dr. Amr Soliman Mohamed Soliman – Acting Dean, Faculty of Sport Sciences

  • Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Mohamed Hassan – Acting Dean, Faculty of Arts

  • Dr. Hamdy Ibrahim Mahmoud – Acting Dean, Faculty of Agriculture

  • Dr. Essam Halim Hussein Abdel-Halim – Acting Dean, Faculty of Computers and Information

  • Dr. Moataz Ahmed Mohamed Abdel-Rahman – Acting Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

  • Dr. Marwa Mohamed Wagdy – Acting Dean, Faculty of Al-Alsun

The University President emphasized that these renewal decisions stem from the University’s approach to maintaining stability within the faculties, continuing the course of administrative and academic development, and ensuring the sustainability of educational and research plans. This, he stressed, strengthens the academic environment, enhances institutional efficiency, and supports the University’s developmental objectives.

He also praised the significant efforts made by the reappointed leaders during their previous terms, expressing his sincere wishes for their continued success in fulfilling their responsibilities. He called on them to work in a spirit of teamwork, exert their utmost efforts in serving students, contribute to the University’s future plans, and continue advancing academic and administrative performance within their faculties—thereby reinforcing the University’s mission and strengthening its standing.
