As part of the activities of the Italian Language Week in the World, the Department of Italian Language at the Faculty of Al-Alsun organized a special celebration dedicated to the Italian language and culture.
The event was attended by Prof. Sherif Abu El-Makarem, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Alia Hussein, Head of the Italian Department, along with faculty members, teaching assistants, and students from various academic years.

The celebration began with welcoming the students, followed by an opening segment greeting the attendees.
In her address, Prof. Alia Hussein expressed her delight in participating in this cultural event, emphasizing the importance of promoting awareness of Italian culture and its role in strengthening intercultural communication and understanding among nations.

The program featured a variety of artistic and educational activities, beginning with a musical performance that added a cheerful and lively atmosphere.
This was followed by a series of interactive competitions in reading, Italian culture, translation, and theater performance, through which students showcased their creativity, linguistic skills, and artistic talents.

The event concluded with an award ceremony honoring the winners of the competitions, who received certificates of appreciation.
Memorable photos were then taken to capture the spirit of the day, reflecting the strong sense of cooperation and belonging shared among the department’s staff and students.
