On Tuesday, 18 November, Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, President of Minia University, inaugurated a number of newly developed lecture halls at the Faculty of Al-Alsun. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hossam Shawky, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and the University Secretary-General. This initiative comes as part of the first phase of a project to develop 80 lecture halls across the university, with the aim of enhancing the educational environment in line with the standards of fourth-generation universities.
Prof. Dr. Marwa El-Schereie, Dean of the Faculty, along with a distinguished group of academic staff members, welcomed the delegation. During his tour, the University President inspected the upgraded halls, which have been equipped with advanced technological infrastructure—including high-resolution interactive screens, modern sound systems, and enhanced internet networks—to provide an integrated digital learning experience for students.
Prof. Dr. Marwa El-Schereie extends her sincere gratitude and appreciation to the University President for his continuous support of the Faculty and his commitment to advancing the university’s development plan in line with digital transformation. She also emphasized his dedication to strengthening students’ academic and practical skills in accordance with the needs of the labor market.
